With IBA Health Plans fully insured products, you can choose from an array of PPO and Managed Indemnity products.

Preferred Provider Organization Coverage

The Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) insurance policies through IBA Health and Life Assurance Company (IBA) provide two benefit levels: In-Network and Out-of-Network. Members seek care from providers within IBA's network to receive a higher benefit level. IBA's PPO policies do not require a Primary Care Physician. IBA also offers High Deductible Health Plans for use with Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).

With In-Network coverage:

  • Member receives higher benefit coverage
  • No Primary Care Physician
  • Open access to specialists
  • No claim forms
  • No balance billing
  • No precertification

With Out-of-Network coverage:

  • Member receives a reduced benefit
  • Claim forms
  • There is balance billing
  • Member must obtain prior authorization

IBA Managed Indemnity Coverage

With an IBA Managed Indemnity insurance policy, employees are free to seek health care services from whomever they wish, the plan then covers all or a percentage of the services provided (typically 80 percent to 100 percent).
