For Members Notification Notification is the process of collecting information prior to inpatient admissions and performance of selected ambulatory procedures and services. IBA Providers are responsible for notifying IBA Health Plans prior to providing certain healthcare services. Please refer to your Certificate of Coverage for a complete listing of those services that require notification. ("Notification" means the utilization review process to determine whether the requested service, procedure, prescription drug or medical device meets IBA Health Plan's clinical criteria for coverage. It does not mean a reliable representation of payment of care or services to fully insured PPO members.)
